Robatech AG - Feeding Technologies

A wide range of feeding technologies is providing various demands like intermittent and continuous application, pressure or volumetric mode, up to precise metering at variable speed.

Piston Pumps / intermittent

Piston pumps are particularly suitable for an intermittent application of adhesive (with interruptions). For the small units as the Concept-series the piston pump KPC12 is the standard pump.

Gear Pumps

Gear pumps feed volumetric and are used for a continuous (uninterrupted) adhesive application and for precise metering. The speed of each individual feed pump is either always constant or can be closed loop controlled in dependence of the machine speed.

For the large melting units like Jumbo, Premelt, RobaPur-series or Robamelt the ZP-series is compatible. The 6 pump types are providing various feeding quantities. In order to increase the feeding capacity several pumps might be equipped.

Adhesive Feeding without compressed air
Feeding capacity = 12 kg/h
Suitable for gear pump applications at the lower flow rates such as Pot Filling.

Intermittent Application with Gear Pump

Robatech offers dedicated solutions for more complex applications where the gear pump is used in a combined mode of intermittent and precise volumetric application in conjunction of large and dynamic volumes.

Electronic Glue Pressure Control

On demand an optional glue pressure control is available. It allows the regulation of the glue pressure, which results in an always constant amount of glue on the start of the glue application.

Quantity Control

The quantity control is suitable for all applications where the application width and/or weight needs to be altered frequently.

The software calculates the correct quantity to be fed on the basis of the application width, the application weight and the machine speed.

Dosing Systems

In case of fast robotics applications with highest demands regarding precise metering dedicated systems are used. Thereby the application head can be directly mounted onto the robotics arm.

Dosing-Pumpstation

For applications of up to max. 100 bar pressure the gear pump module can be used, which is also available as a multiple pump block with 2, 4, 6 or 8 pumps. Application example: Window sealing.

Piston dosing unit

The elctric double piston dosing unit enables high volume feeding and application of sealing compounds by bead or flat-stream at high glue pressures of up to 350 bar. Application example: e.g. Automotive industry.
